green peas masala

Peas Masala also known as Matar Masala is a very simple and popular dish from the Indian cuisine. Peas masala is prepared by fresh or frozen peas, pureed tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and some Indian spices and finally garnished with crushed kasoori methi.

Peas are low in calories and it has no cholesterol. They are an excellent source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Manganese, also it has enormous amount of healthy dietary fibre and folic acid. So try to include peas in your everyday meal.

Peas masala is a super spicy curry that goes well with chapathi, roti, naan, pulao or jeera rice. This peas curry tastes very delicious and easy to make in 30-40 minutes. Also, this is great for special occasions, festivals, pot lucks or any get-together.

For this recipe, am not adding any cream, coconut milk or flavors. In addition, am adding only the whole spices and spice powders to infuse the flavor in this dish. Follow my step by step photo recipe to prepare Green Peas Masala.
