INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup carrot - grated
  • 1/4 cup onion - chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum - chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweet corn - boiled
  • 1 tsp garlic - chopped
  • 1 green chilli - chopped
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves - chopped
  • 1/2 tsp italian herbs or oregano
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • 4 bread slices
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp oil

PROCEDURE

  • chop all the veggies
  • boil the sweet corn
  • in a mixing bowl, combine grated carrot, chopped onion, capsicum, garlic, green chilli, boiled corn, coriander leaves, salt, pepper powder, italian herbs and pepper powder, set aside
  • spread unsalted butter in the bread evenly
  • spread the veggie mix evenly on the bread slices
  • add mozzarella cheese on one side of above the veggies
  • cover with another bread slice
  • heat a tsp of oil in a pan
  • place the prepared sandwich
  • cover with lid and cook on low flame until the cheese melts
  • flip over to other side and cook in low flame till it turns slightly crisp
  • slice the sandwich
  • veg cheese sandwich ready to serve
  • serve hot

NOTES

  1. you can use tawa, sandwich maker or grill the sandwich
  2. add vegetable of your choice

chop all the veggies


take ingredients ready


add garlic, green chilli and coriander leaves


add herbs


add black pepper powder


add salt


mix well and set aside


take bread slices


take unsalted butter


spread butter evenly on the bread


spread veggie mix on the bread


add mozzarella cheese


cover with another bread slice


heat a tsp of oil in a tawa, place the prepared sandwich


cook on low flame


cover with lid and cook until the cheese melts




flip over to other side and cook evenly
