RECIPE FOR BUTTER COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

• 1 stick unsalted butter - room temperature

• 1/2 cup sugar

• 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

• pinch of salt

PROCEDURE

• take unsalted butter in a large bowl

• beat well / whisk well using electric beater for 1 minute

• add sugar and continue to beat well for another 1 minute or until the mix turns smooth and glossy texture

• add all purpose flour and salt

• mix well and make like a dough, without adding water

• now pinch a small ball sized cookie dough, roll it, smoothen it and press gently with a fork

• repeat with the remaining cookie dough

• place it over a baking tray lined with parchment paper

• preheat oven at 350 degree F and bake for 15-20 minutes

• cool down completely

• store in a airtight container

• perfect for evening snack with tea/coffee

BUTTER COOKIES WITH STEP-BY-STEP PHOTO RECIPE

beat well for 1 minute or until it turns creamy texture

add sugar

continue to beat well for another 1 minute or until the mix turns smooth and glossy texture

add all purpose flour

add pinch of salt

mix well and make like a dough

cookie dough ready

pinch a small ball sized cookie dough and smoothen it

press gently with a fork to make a mark

place it over a baking tray lined with parchment paper

preheat oven at 350 degree F and bake for 15-20 minutes

butter cookies ready 

cool down completely

ready to serve with a cup of tea / coffee
