Salmon fish fry is made with fresh Indian spices and it is shallow fried. Fried curry leaves added on top of the fish fry, which gives more flavor to this recipe. INGREDIENTS
  • 500g salmon fish
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder (adjust your spice level)
  • 3 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • half lemon (if you choose big lemon)
  • 1 tbsp curry leaves -  finely chopped
  • salt as needed
  • curry leaves for garnish
  • oil for shallow fry
PROCEDURE
  • clean the salmon fish and cut into desired size
  • in a glass bowl/container, add turmeric powder, red chilli 
  • powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, chopped curry leaves and half lemon juice
  • mix well
  • now add salmon fish
  • apply the masala paste evenly on all the fish pieces
  • cover and rest for 1 hour
  • heat a dosa tawa or frying pan
  • place the fish on the tawa
  • sprinkle 1 or 2 tsp oil
  • cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes on each side
  • remove from tawa and continue with remaining marinated fish
  • heat 2 tsp oil in a frying pan
  • fry curry leaves for garnishing
  • delicious fish fry ready
  • serve as a starter/appetizer


Salmon Fish Recipe with Step-By-Step Photo Recipe


in a glass container, take turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, chopped curry leaves and half lemon juice


mix well


apply masala paste on all the fish pieces


heat a griddle or pan or dosa tawa


place the fish on the tawa


sprinkle 1 or 2 tsp oil, cover and cook or open cook in medium flame for 2-3 minutes


flip over to other side and cook for 2 minutes, if need sprinkle 1 or 2 tsp oil

  2. I tried this unique recipe last night. It was mouth-watering & my family loved it. I am fond of fish & love trying new fish cuisines. Crispy Fish finger recipe is next on my bucket-list. Hope my family would love it too.
