INGREDIENTS:


PROCEDURE
  • Remove the veins of prawn
  • clean with turmeric powder
  • wash with running water
  • marinate with turmeric powder
  • rest for 10 minutes
  • heat oil in a pan
  • add cloves, cardamom and bay leaf
  • when they sizzle, add finely chopped onions
  • saute for about 4-5 minutes or until onions turns dark brown
  • add ginger garlic paste
  • saute until the raw smell goes
  • add chopped tomatoes
  • saute till turns out mushy
  • now add marinated prawn
  • add turmeric powder, sambar powder, garam masala, cumin powder and salt
  • mix well until turns aromatic
  • close the lid
  • cook for 5 minutes in medium flame
  • now add required amount of water 
  • cook for 5-6 minutes or until the mixture thickens
  • finally, add pepper powder, cook for 2 minutes in low flame
  • garnish with coriander leaves
  • serve hot with rice or roti.
