RECIPE FOR BLACK PEPPER POWDER

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup whole black pepper corns

PROCEDURE

  • add whole black pepper corn into a heavy bottomed pan and dry roast in low flame for 5 minutes
  • dry roast the pepper corns until it starts to splutter and turns crispy and then switch off the flame
  • cool down the pepper corns at room temperature and then add into the clean dry mixer jar
  • grind to a fine power and cool down at room temperature for next 1 hour
  • then store the pepper powder in a clean dry container
  • black pepper powder is ready to use and use a dry spoon every time you use it
  • Enjoy!
NOTES
  • i love to grind to a fine powder, but some people love to grind to a slight coarse powder
  • store at room temperature for 6 months
